Install Yaplet on an UNAS shop

Updated October 22, 2026

UNAS has a menu for adding outside scripts to every page of your shop, and that is all the Yaplet widget needs. You copy one block of code from Yaplet, paste it into UNAS, and the chat button appears on your shop. You don't need an UNAS app or a developer, and UNAS charges nothing for it.

The UNAS admin is in Hungarian, so the menu names below are written exactly as UNAS shows them, with an English translation in brackets.

1. Copy your Yaplet code

In the Yaplet dashboard's left menu, go to Brand → (your brand) → Chat widget → Install. If the tab asks where your website runs, choose UNAS. Copy the code with the copy button on the code block.

The code you paste must be plain JavaScript that starts with !function (Yaplet, with no <script> tags around it. UNAS's script menu takes the script itself and adds those tags on its own. If what you copied starts with a <script> line, leave out that first line and the last </script> line.

2. Open the script menu in UNAS

Log in to your UNAS admin and go to Beállítások → Kinézet, Arculat → Szkript beszúrás (Settings → Look and branding → Script insertion).

3. Add the Yaplet script

  1. Add a new script.
  2. Give it a name you will recognise later, for example Yaplet chat.
  3. Paste the code you copied into the script field.
  4. UNAS lets you choose how the script loads: normal, async or "defer". Leave it on normal. The Yaplet code already loads the chat in the background, so it never slows your pages down.
  5. If UNAS asks where on the page the script should go, any place works. The end of the page is a good choice.
  6. Make sure the script is switched on, then save.

4. Check your shop

Open your shop in a new browser tab and reload the page. The Yaplet chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to check that the chat opens.

For a full checklist, see Verify your installation.

Switch off your old chat

If your shop used another chat tool through UNAS's built-in connection, switch it off at Beállítások → Külső kapcsolatok → Chat a látogatóval (Settings → External connections → Chat with visitors). Otherwise your customers see two chat buttons. If your old chat was added as a script instead, switch off or delete that script in Szkript beszúrás.

If the chat doesn't appear

  • The code shows up as text on your pages. Your UNAS script field did not add the tags itself. Edit the Yaplet script, type <script> on a new line before the code and </script> on a new line after it, and save.
  • Nothing appears and you added <script> tags yourself. Remove them: with the tags added twice, the browser can't run the code.
  • You can't find Szkript beszúrás. Ask UNAS support whether your plan includes script insertion.
  • The script is saved but switched off. Switch it on and save again.
