Shoprenter | Yaplet

Overview

Shoprenter lets you add outside scripts in the theme settings. Pasting the Yaplet code there puts the chat widget on every page of the shop. No Shoprenter app or developer is needed.

The Shoprenter admin is in Hungarian. Menu names are written exactly as Shoprenter shows them, with an English translation in brackets. In a 14-day trial shop, Shoprenter locks some custom-code features until you subscribe.

Installation Steps

Copy your Yaplet code

In your Yaplet dashboard, go to Brand → Chat widget and open the Install tab. If the tab asks where your website runs, choose Shoprenter. Copy the code with the copy button on the code block.

Shoprenter needs the code inside <script> tags, so the code you paste in the next steps must have them.

Open the custom scripts tab

In your Shoprenter admin, go to Megjelenés → Téma testreszabás (Appearance → Theme customization) and open the Egyedi scriptek (Custom scripts) tab.

Paste the code and save

In the box Body részbe illeszthető scriptek (scripts for the page body), click into an empty line after any scripts already there and paste the Yaplet code. The code you paste must start with a <script> line and end with a </script> line; if what you copied starts with !function (Yaplet instead, type <script> on a new line before it and </script> on a new line after it. Click Mentés (Save).

Check your shop

Open your shop in a new browser tab and reload it. The Yaplet chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to check that the chat opens.

Switch Off Your Old Chat

If the shop runs another chat, remove it so customers don't see two chat buttons. A chat installed as a Shoprenter app is managed under Alkalmazások (Apps); a chat added as code sits in the same Egyedi scriptek tab, where you can delete its code.

Troubleshooting

The code shows up as text on the shop's pages — the <script> and </script> lines are missing. Add them around the code and save again.
You changed the shop's theme — the custom scripts tab is part of the theme customization. Check Megjelenés → Téma testreszabás → Egyedi scriptek on the new theme, and paste the code again if it isn't there.
The tab is locked in a trial shop — Shoprenter unlocks custom-code features once the shop has a paid plan.
You'd rather use Google Tag Manager — Shoprenter has a field for your Tag Manager container at Beállítások → SEO és Analitika beállítások → SEO beállítások, on the Google Tag Manager tab. Then add Yaplet in Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager.
