Brand

Everything one brand owns, in one place in the menu — its Overview, chat widget, knowledge, products, AI agents, workflows and settings.

Where it is

Brand sits in the left menu between Communications and Marketing, drawn as a bounded panel. The top row of the panel carries the brand's name and icon; clicking it opens and closes the section rather than going anywhere. Below it the brand's pages are banded by three dividers — Content (Knowledge, Products), Automation (Vex, Voice, Workflows) and Configuration (Brand settings) — with Overview and Chat widget sitting above the first divider.

The brand's own pages live at /dashboard/brands/<brandId>/…, and a bare /dashboard/brands/<brandId> sends you to Overview. A few rows lead to editors that kept their own older addresses — the widget designer, help articles and documentation pages — so links and bookmarks you already have keep working.

The brand's pages

Overview

The brand's home screen — what is set up, what needs your attention, the week in numbers and how the AI is answering.

Chat widget

The chat bubble on your site. The row opens the widget designer; a brand with no widget gets a page that offers to add one.

Knowledge

Every source this brand's AI reads, with its type, whether it is working, how much it contributes and whether it is live on the public site.

Products

Your product feeds and the catalogue they produce. The AI recommends these products when a conversation calls for one.

Vex

The brand's AI chat agent, across four pills: Personality, Starters, Suggestions and Reports.

Voice

Phone agents that answer inbound calls using this brand's knowledge.

Workflows

Scripted conversations this brand can run — in chat, on Facebook and Instagram, and on phone calls.

Brand settings

Name, language, company details, the public address, the social writing voice, brand images, the privacy and answer-quality switches, and the danger zone.

One brand, or several

Only one brand is shown at a time. Once you have two or more, a quiet Switch brand row appears at the bottom of the panel, below a hairline; it opens a menu of every brand, each with its brand icon — or a plain swatch where no icon is set. Under the same hairline, New brand opens a create dialog. That row is there whether you have one brand or ten, as long as you hold the Brands permission.

Switching brand lands you on the new brand's Overview whenever you were standing on something the old brand owned — one of its pages, the widget designer, a help article or a documentation page. Anywhere else, you stay where you are. Home also gains a comparison table of your brands once there is more than one.

Who sees which page

Each row is gated by its own permission, and a band whose rows are all hidden takes its divider down with it.

A member who can open none of these pages and cannot create a brand does not see the Brand heading at all.

Opened from the wrong organisation

If you belong to several organisations and open a brand while working in a different one, its pages have nothing to show you — every screen scopes to the organisation you are acting as. Rather than rendering empty, the page names both organisations — the one that owns the brand and the one you are working in — and offers Switch to (that organisation) and open this brand, alongside Stay here and go to Home. Which organisation you are working in is stored on your account, not on the device, so switching it here switches it in every tab you have open.
