Editors & Builders

The four editors behind Yaplet's content — a rich-text editor for knowledge base articles, a markdown editor for documentation pages, the form builder for intake forms, and the email builder for newsletters.

Which editor does what

Each of these opens from the thing you are editing rather than from a menu entry of its own, so it is easy to lose track of which one you are looking at. This is the map.

HTML article editor

The rich-text editor. It writes knowledge base articles, and the same editor is reused for news posts and banners.

Markdown article editor

Writes documentation pages in markdown, with a live preview. Reached through Brand → Knowledge → a documentation set.

Form builder

Builds the intake forms that file tickets on a board. Reached through Communications → Tickets → (board) → Forms.

Email builder

Builds newsletter campaigns, reusable templates, and the emails sent by email automations.

Email automations is what the newsletter now calls its workflows. Only the menu word changed — the web address is still /dashboard/newsletter/workflows, so existing links and bookmarks keep working.
