Campaigns

Organize and manage your email campaigns across their entire lifecycle, from drafting to completion.

Campaign Lifecycle

Email campaigns in Yaplet move through several distinct phases, each with different capabilities and management options.

Draft Campaigns

Work on campaigns before they're ready to send. Draft campaigns are private and can be edited, modified, or deleted at any time.

Available Actions:

  • Create new campaigns using the step-by-step builder
  • Edit campaign content, recipients, and settings
  • Duplicate campaigns for reuse
  • Delete unfinished campaigns

Ongoing Campaigns

Active campaigns that are currently sending emails to recipients. These campaigns can be monitored in real-time and controlled as needed.

Available Actions:

  • View live sending progress and statistics
  • Pause campaigns temporarily (emails stay queued)
  • Resume paused campaigns
  • Cancel campaigns permanently (stops all future sending)
  • Duplicate for reuse

Finished Campaigns

Successfully completed campaigns that have sent all emails. These provide historical data and insights.

Available Actions:

  • View comprehensive analytics and performance metrics
  • Review individual email delivery status
  • Duplicate successful campaigns
  • Analyze engagement patterns

Cancelled Campaigns

Campaigns that were stopped before completion. These preserve the campaign setup for future reference.

Available Actions:

  • View campaign configuration and partial results
  • Review what was sent before cancellation
  • Duplicate for future use

Campaign Management Best Practices

Draft Phase: Use drafts to experiment with content, test recipient selections, and refine your messaging before committing to send.
Ongoing Campaigns: Monitor delivery rates and engagement metrics closely. Pause campaigns if you notice issues that need immediate attention.
Campaign Cancellation: Once cancelled, campaigns cannot be resumed. Consider pausing first if you might want to continue later.
Scheduling: Use the campaign builder's scheduling feature to send emails at optimal times, or send immediately for time-sensitive communications.
