Workflows
Newsletter workflows are automated, multi-step sequences that deliver personalized email campaigns based on subscriber actions, timing, or data. They help you create sophisticated nurture sequences, welcome series, and lifecycle automations without manual intervention.
How Workflows Work
Workflows operate like a flowchart where each step (called a "node") performs a specific action:
- Triggers initiate the workflow when specific events occur (new subscriptions, date-based events, or manual/API calls)
- Email nodes send messages at strategic points in the sequence
- Delay nodes add waiting periods between communications
- Condition nodes create branching logic based on subscriber data
- Action nodes update subscriber information or group memberships
- Webhook nodes send data to external systems for integrations
Workflows run automatically once triggered, ensuring consistent timing and personalization across your subscriber base.
