Chat Messages
Chat messages are proactive outreach elements that automatically send personalized messages to your website visitors through the chat widget. They appear as incoming chat messages from your bot or agent, creating natural conversational opportunities to engage visitors based on their behavior and context.
How Chat Messages Work
Chat messages are delivered through your existing chat widget, appearing as automated messages that visitors receive while browsing your site. Unlike banners that overlay the page content, messages integrate seamlessly into the chat experience, making them feel like natural parts of the conversation flow.
Triggering Chat Messages
Chat messages can be triggered by various events and conditions such as page visits, user interactions, time-based rules, or custom events. For detailed information about configuring message triggers, see our comprehensive trigger documentation.
