Learn how to use the powerful filtering system to find and manage specific groups of subscribers in your newsletter.

Quick Filters

The fastest way to filter subscribers is using the quick filter dropdown. These preset filters let you instantly view subscribers by their verification status:

Verified Subscribers

Subscribers who have confirmed their email address

Unverified Subscribers

Subscribers who haven't confirmed their email yet

Removed Subscribers

Subscribers marked for removal

Unsubscribed

Users who have unsubscribed from your newsletter

Bounced

Emails that bounced due to invalid addresses

Spam Complaints

Subscribers who marked your emails as spam

For more precise filtering, use the advanced query builder to create custom filter combinations.

Available Fields

You can filter subscribers based on these core fields:

Email
text
Filter by email address using text matching operators
Name
text
Filter by subscriber name
Added At
datetime
Filter by when subscribers were added to your list
State
text
Filter by subscriber status (VERIFIED, UNVERIFIED, REMOVED, etc.)
Custom Fields

Filter using any custom fields you've created for your subscribers

Filter Operators

Each field type supports different operators:

Email, Name, State, and custom text fields support:

  • Equals / Does not equal - Exact match
  • Contains / Does not contain - Partial match anywhere in text
  • Starts with / Does not start with - Match beginning of text
  • Ends with / Does not end with - Match end of text
  • Is set / Is not set - Check if field has a value

Building Complex Filters

Combine multiple conditions using AND/OR logic:

Click the query builder to add your initial filter condition

Combine Conditions

Use the AND or OR dropdown to add additional conditions

Set Field and Operator

Choose the field you want to filter by and select an appropriate operator

Enter Values

Input your filter values (text, dates, numbers, etc.)

Apply the Filter

Click Filter to see results, or Clear to reset :::

You can nest conditions up to 1 level deep for complex filtering scenarios.

Segment-Based Filtering

When viewing subscribers from a specific segment, the page automatically applies that segment's saved filters. You can modify these filters and save them back to the segment:

When filtering within a segment, use the Save segment filters button to update the segment's definition with your current filter settings.

Group-Based Filtering

Filter subscribers by group membership by navigating to subscribers through a specific group. The page will automatically show only subscribers in that group.

Group filtering is applied automatically when you access subscribers through the group management interface.
