UNAS
Install the Yaplet chat widget on an UNAS web shop through UNAS's built-in script insertion menu. No app and no UNAS fee.
Overview
UNAS has a built-in menu for adding outside scripts to every page of a shop. Pasting the Yaplet code there puts the chat widget on the whole shop. No UNAS app, developer or theme editing is needed, and UNAS charges nothing for it.
Installation Steps
Copy your Yaplet code
In your Yaplet dashboard, go to Brand → Chat widget and open the Install tab. If the tab asks where your website runs, choose UNAS. Copy the code with the copy button on the code block.
The code you paste must be plain JavaScript that starts with !function (Yaplet, with no <script> tags around it. UNAS's script menu takes the script itself and adds those tags on its own. If what you copied starts with a <script> line, leave out that first line and the last </script> line.
Open the script menu in UNAS
In your UNAS admin, go to Beállítások → Kinézet, Arculat → Szkript beszúrás (Settings → Look and branding → Script insertion).
Add the Yaplet script
Add a new script, name it (for example Yaplet chat) and paste the code into the script field.
UNAS lets you choose how the script loads: normal, async or "defer". Leave it on normal; the Yaplet code already loads the chat in the background. If UNAS asks where on the page the script goes, any place works; the end of the page is a good choice.
Make sure the script is switched on, then save.
Check your shop
Open your shop in a new browser tab and reload it. The Yaplet chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to check that the chat opens.
Switch Off Your Old Chat
If the shop used another chat tool through UNAS's built-in connection, switch it off at Beállítások → Külső kapcsolatok → Chat a látogatóval (Settings → External connections → Chat with visitors), so customers don't see two chat buttons. If the old chat was added as a script, switch off or delete that script in Szkript beszúrás.
Troubleshooting
- The code shows up as text on the shop's pages — the script field did not add the tags itself. Edit the Yaplet script, put
<script>on a new line before the code and</script>on a new line after it, and save. - Nothing appears and you added
<script>tags yourself — remove them. With the tags added twice, the browser can't run the code. - There is no Szkript beszúrás menu — ask UNAS support whether your plan includes script insertion.
- The script is saved but switched off — switch it on and save again.
