Eshop-rychle

Install the Yaplet chat widget on an Eshop-rychle web shop with Eshop-rychle's own measuring codes. No app and no template editing.

Overview

Eshop-rychle lets you add your own JavaScript to a shop as a custom measuring code (Vlastní kódy), placed in the page header or footer. Eshop-rychle's own help installs a chat this way. Adding the Yaplet code there, wrapped in <script> tags, puts the chat widget on the whole shop.

Custom measuring codes are included from the Hobby plan up. On the Free plan, Eshop-rychle sells the connection to measuring and advertising tools as a paid extra.
This guide follows the Czech Eshop-rychle admin, as Eshop-rychle's own help shows it. Menu and field names are written exactly as Eshop-rychle shows them, with an English translation in brackets.

Installation Steps

Copy your Yaplet code

In your Yaplet dashboard, go to Brand → Chat widget and open the Install tab. If the tab asks where your website runs, choose Other website. Copy the code with the copy button on the code block.

If the code you copied starts with !function (Yaplet, it has no <script> tags around it yet. Eshop-rychle's source code field expects HTML, so the code needs <script> tags around it.

Add an own measuring code

In your Eshop-rychle admin, go to E-shop → Měřící kódy (E-shop → Measuring codes) and add a new own code (vlastní kód). The form is titled Vlastní kódy (Own codes).

Fill in the form

  • Název (Name): a name you will recognize, for example Yaplet chat.
  • Pozice (Position): Hlavička (Header). The footer option works too.
  • Zdrojový kód (Source code): paste the code. The code must start with a <script> line and end with a </script> line. If what you copied starts with !function (Yaplet instead, type <script> on a new line before it and </script> on a new line after it.

Click Uložit (Save).

Check your shop

Open your shop in a new browser tab and reload it. The Yaplet chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to check that the chat opens.

Switch Off Your Old Chat

If the shop used the chat connected at E-shop → Live chat a Chatbot, cancel that connection there. If the old chat was added as an own measuring code, delete that code, so customers don't see two chat buttons.

Troubleshooting

  • The code shows up as text on the shop's pages — the <script> tags are missing. Edit the code, add them as described above and save.
  • The position is set to the thank-you page — that page only shows after an order. Change Pozice to Hlavička and save.
  • You can't add an own code — on the Free plan, the connection to measuring tools is a paid extra. Buy it, or move to the Hobby plan or higher.
  • The browser shows an old copy of the page — reload, or open the shop in a private window.
