Hostinger Website Builder

Install the Yaplet chat widget on a Hostinger Website Builder site through the builder's Custom code integration. No developer needed.

Overview

Hostinger Website Builder has a Custom code field for adding outside scripts to a whole site. Pasting the Yaplet code there and updating the website puts the chat widget on every page. No developer is needed.

Hostinger's help now calls the builder Hostinger AI Builder (manual mode). Menu names are written exactly as Hostinger's English help shows them.

Installation Steps

Copy your Yaplet code

In your Yaplet dashboard, go to Brand → Chat widget and open the Install tab. If the tab asks where your website runs, choose Other website. Copy the code with the copy button on the code block.

If the code you copied starts with !function (Yaplet, it has no <script> tags around it yet. Hostinger's Custom code field sorts code by its HTML tags, so you add those tags when you paste the code.

Open the integrations settings

In the builder, click More (the ⋯ button) and select Integrations.

Paste the code into Custom code

In the Custom code field, paste the Yaplet code. The code must start with a <script> line and end with a </script> line. If what you copied starts with !function (Yaplet instead, type <script> on a new line before it and </script> on a new line after it. The finished code looks like this:

<script>
(your Yaplet code)
</script>

If the field already holds other code, paste yours below it, never in the middle of another snippet. Hostinger places code inside <script> tags at the end of every page.

Save and update your website

Save the changes, then update (publish) the website. The code only reaches the live site after the update.

Check your site

Open the live site in a new browser tab and reload it. The Yaplet chat button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to check that the chat opens.

Troubleshooting

  • You are looking in the editor — custom code only runs in preview mode and on the live site, not inside the editor.
  • The website wasn't updated — saving is not enough. Update the website so the new code is added to the pages.
  • The <script> tags are missing — check that <script> is on the line before the code and </script> on the line after it, then save and update again.
  • The site breaks after adding the code — go to Integrations → Custom code, remove all snippets and update the website. Then add them back one at a time to find the one causing it.
  • You still see the old page — the browser may show a cached copy. Reload, or open the site in a private window.
The Installation page explains what the code does and lists every other platform guide.
