Subscriber Verification

Subscriber verification ensures that only users who actively confirm their subscription receive your newsletter emails. This double opt-in process improves deliverability and compliance with anti-spam regulations.

How Verification Works

When adding subscribers, you have the option to verify them. Verified subscribers receive a confirmation email with an accept button they must click to complete their subscription.

This verification step prevents spam complaints and ensures only engaged subscribers are added to your mailing list.

Verification Status Page

The verification status page shows all verification emails that have been sent to subscribers. You can monitor the status of each verification attempt and see which contacts have been verified.

Verification Status

View all verification emails with their current status, including recipient information, email state, and contact verification status.

Verification Email Variants

Verification email variants work similarly to regular email templates, but are specifically designed for subscriber verification emails. Each variant can be customized with different content, sender information, and styling.

Email Variants

Manage your verification email templates, create new variants, and edit existing ones.

Creating Variants

You can create verification email variants in two formats:

  • MJML: A markup language specifically designed for responsive email templates
  • HTML: Standard HTML for maximum customization control

Editing Variants

In the variant editor, you can customize:

  • Subject line and preheader text
  • Sender name and sender email address
  • Email content using the visual email editor
For detailed information about using the email editor, see our email editor documentation.

Each variant can be tested by sending a test email before using it for actual verification campaigns. You can also duplicate existing variants to create similar templates quickly.
