Yaplet credits are a top-up currency used for two things: AI answers (Vex chatbot and Copilot in the inbox) and AI phone call minutes. They're separate from your subscription plan — you top them up as needed and they don't expire at the end of a billing cycle.
What credits cover
- AI answers — every time Vex responds to a visitor or an agent uses Copilot in the inbox, a small number of credits is consumed. The exact rate depends on the AI model used.
- Voice call minutes — AI phone calls bill per minute, deducted from your credit balance. The approximate rate is $0.12 per minute.
- Newsletter emails — email sends are metered separately (not from the credit balance) at $0.50 per 1,000 emails beyond your plan's included allowance.
Check your credit balance
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Your current credit balance is shown in the Account balance section, along with a top-up history.
Buy credits
- Go to Settings → Billing and click Top up in the Account balance card.
- Choose an amount. Payments are processed via Stripe Checkout and support card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
- After payment, the funds are added to your account balance immediately. The charge appears as a top-up in your billing history (separate from your subscription invoices).
How credits apply to invoices
Credit usage accumulates during your billing period and appears as line items on your next invoice. If you have a positive account balance (from a top-up or a proration credit), it's automatically applied to reduce the invoice total before charging your card.
Credits after you cancel
If you cancel your subscription with a positive credit balance, the credits are not automatically forfeited. Contact support to request a manual refund of the remaining balance.
Credits during the trial
During the 14-day free trial you can use up to 500 credits of AI usage. That's enough for hundreds of AI answers. If you exhaust them before the trial ends, the trial ends immediately and paid billing starts — same as exceeding the email limit.
